For one reason or another, there may be certain product categories you do not want to sell. Rather than removing these products one by one, you have an easy way to remove them at the category-level.
A high level view of your category settings can be viewed on the Manage Catalog Default Settings page.
The table will display your settings for both Over the Counter (OTC) and Prescription items by species, using the following key:
To view or edit the subcategories that fall under OTC and prescription, select the "Edit" button at the bottom of the box.
You will now see a list of all classifications available for inclusion. A checked box means that category is included in your catalog. To exclude, simply uncheck the corresponding box.
You can select or unselect at the category level using the boxes at the top (by species) or far left (product category).
Once you are happy with your settings, select "Update" to save.
