What types of text messages are my clients going to receive?
Clients receive one text as part of a prescription reminder sequence. First, as soon as a new prescription recommendation is created, they will receive an email. If they haven't purchased that prescription within a week, they will get a text message reminding them to fill their prescription. No reminder texts will be sent.
How often are they going to receive text messages?
Clients will only receive one text when you put a new prescription recommendation on file.
Will my clients know that the texts are coming from our practice?
Yes, each text will be customized with your practice name to make sure the communication is coming from you.
Can my clients opt out of text message communications?
Yes. Clients may opt out individually by responding with the word “STOP” to the text message received.
Do clients have to be opted-in to receive texts?
No. Prescription reminders are considered transactional in nature and do not require explicit permissions to send via text. Anyone on the National Do Not Call Registry will be excluded from receiving text messages.
How can we ensure that client messages are going to current clients and that we have their updated contact info?
To ensure clients receive texts at the correct number, check that their phone numbers are updated in your practice management software.
